Classrooms are conducive to an percriptive learning environment with a teacher, a classroom counselor who holds a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field and the option for individualized 1:1 services. This supportive setting allows for students to have a close interactive education and receive engaging and interactive lessons. Throughout the day, students use coping skills and a positive reinforcement system to promote self-esteem and personal control over their behaviors. No more than ten students are assigned to a classroom at a time. Students participate in physical education classes within our onsite gymnasium and outside apparatus.

Along with the educational value of our facility, students are also able to receive related services such as occupational therapy, speech services, family therapy, individual therapy, and group therapy. This programming service is supervised by our Clinical Director who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Group topics encompass anger management, daily living skill development, coping techniques, communication skills, and various therapeutic interventions.

Our day school children are referred by the local school system after consistently demonstrating an inability to function in a regular classroom. Students are closely and frequently monitored so they can transition back into a regular school setting when they have completed our program, which is individualized for every student. We maintain high academic expectations to help all of our students achieve their full potential.
